This morning, Michael Roth broke his extended silence on the calls for transparency within the administration to the student body with a blog post on how he plans to host the deceased rapper, Tupac Shakur, for this year’s spring fling.
“I am excited to announce that I have attempted to contact the agency representing the super cool rapper, Tupac Shakur. I understand that Tupac is on the rise, and it would be, I believe, a fulfilling experience for the student body to see the hip hop star perform this spring. This is just the first step to repairing the relationship between the administration and the student body, but I believe that inviting this cool young rapper displays the administration’s strong belief in inclusion of all ethnicities and identities.”
